Located at 441 3 Street SW in Salmon Arm, the team at The Salvation Army – Lighthouse Community Ministries connects with families every day to provide grocery support. This year as we’ve seen grocery prices increase, we’ve also seen a dramatic increase in the number of households that are coming to us for support. We distributed over 171,000lb of food to 993 households in the community in 2025.
We use a shopping model where households have a number of points available for them to spend in our market space each month. Flexibility and the ability to choose are important to us.
The Food Bank is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am — 12:30 pm.
